Hello & Welcome!

I am here to create and hold a space for you that will become a refuge for healing, transformation, and recovery. It’s a compassionate space to process and release your pain and suffering, renew your inner strength, and restore your innate resilience.

I have 25+ years of experience as an integral psychotherapist & holistic/energy practitioner. I help highly sensitive healthcare professionals and caregivers heal from empathic distress and recover from burnout.

Ultimately, I give you the tools and resources to become a guardian of your own energy, prevent future burnout, and positively impact the lives of those you serve as a highly sensitive helping professional.

My approach to healing and well-being is full-spectrum by integrating the psychological, somatic, emotional, social, and spiritual.

I follow these ten principles of holistic practice:

  1. Unconditional love is life’s most powerful healer.
  2. Optimal health is more than the absence of sickness.
  3. Illness is viewed as a manifestation of the whole person, not as an isolated event.
  4. Holistic practitioners embrace a variety of safe, effective options in diagnosis and treatment, including education for lifestyle changes and self-care, as well as complementary approaches.
  5. Prevention is preferable to treatment and is usually more cost-effective. The most cost-effective approach evokes the patient’s own healing capabilities.
  6. A major determinant of healing outcomes is the quality of the relationship between the practitioner and patient/client, in which patient/client autonomy is encouraged.
  7. The ideal practitioner-patient/client relationship considers the needs, desires, awareness, and insight of the patient/client and the practitioner.
  8. Practitioners significantly influence patients through their example.
  9. Illness, pain, and the dying process can be learning opportunities for patients/clients and practitioners.
  10. Holistic practitioners encourage patients/clients to evoke the healing power of love, hope, humor, and enthusiasm and to release the toxic consequences of hostility, shame, greed, depression, prolonged fear, anger, and grief.

I’m based in Boulder, CO. I work with clients online using a secure telehealth platform. I am licensed in Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Washington, and Arizona.

Best Selling Author, "Cracked Open, Healing from the Pain of Loss"

I wrote this book in 3-months after my Dad died. It honors my relationship with my Dad, and the spiritual awakening and growth accelerated by his passing.

Life-Long Student of Intuitive and Energy Medicine

2022 has been a year of recommitting to developing my clairvoyance and learning how to love and heal myself deeply. I work directly with several mentors and spiritual teachers who support and guide my journey towards greater spiritual fulfillment.

Once a devoted Yoga and Qi Gong Practitioner

I have been practicing yoga since I was 27 years old. As a former gymnast, I initially took to the practice because I was “good” at it. Soon to discover that yoga is first an energy practice, which began my journey of personal development and learning how to connect to my body and love myself. I am still working on this!

Energy is everything and everywhere….a daily dose of Qi Gong is good medicine.

Forever Cyclist

From my first bike with training wheels, I have always loved the freedom of riding a bike. I am an avid cyclist, both road and gravel, and I live in one of the best places in the country to play. I love to explore new places to ride and meet new people along the way. Cycling has been a significant part of my healing journey through grief and loss.

I stand for love, peace, and connection.

I am an empath, which means I have a high level of feeling and am not afraid of emotions. I stand for love, peace, connection, and attachment and will share my energy to create more of this in the world.

I have a powerful spiritual connection and use my light to create a life that is outside the mainstream box. I believe our life experiences, no matter how difficult they seem, are opportunities to wake up to our true selves and evolve as spiritual beings.

When we are not changing, we are choosing. Life gives us many breadcrumbs that lead to breakthroughs – I help guide my clients toward leading a life with more love, peace, and freedom.

Fun Facts

I moved to Alaska when I was 22, changed the spelling of my name from "Tina" to "Teena," and lived off the grid for the next ten years.

I suffered from a severe eating disorder when I was just 11 years old. I thought I had to be perfect in every way to exist in the world. I couldn't meet this expectation, so I found a way to abandon myself and nearly lost my life.

One of my most adventurous jobs was scuba diving in the glacier waters of Unakwik Inlet, Prince William Sound, Alaska, repairing fishing nets. Orca Whales and sea lions were within sight most days.

I always knew that my soul would never die. As a young child, I felt most connected to the trees and loved to watch the birds fly amongst the clouds.

I have written a total of 4 books but didn't find my voice until the most recent release of Cracked Open, Healing from the Pain of Loss.
