Reaching out for couples therapy can feel like a big step, especially if things have felt painful, distant, or uncertain for a while.
The best place to begin is a free 30-minute consultation — a real conversation where both partners can share what’s bringing you in, ask questions, and get a sense of whether we’re a good fit to work together.
If we are, every couple I work with begins with a Relationship Roadmap: a three-hour session and written assessment, $1,500. It’s where we determine what the work needs to be — ongoing couples therapy at $620 per two-hour session, or a Marriage Intensive at $7,000.
I mention the fees here so they aren’t a surprise later. My practice is private pay and I don’t bill insurance.

Before Your Consultation
You do not need to prepare anything formal. It may help to briefly consider:
- What has been most difficult in your relationship recently?
- What have you already tried?
- What would you most like to see change?
- What would a successful outcome look like for both of you?
- Have a look at the Relationship Roadmap so you know what the first session involves.
This gives us a helpful place to begin.
Let’s Begin With a Conversation
You don’t need to know which path fits before reaching out. That’s what the Relationship Roadmap is for — and the consultation is where we decide whether to take that step together.
