AEDP | Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy

If you’re carrying anxiety, trauma, or relationship pain, you don’t have to go through it alone.

I’m Teena, and I practice Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) here in Boulder, Colorado—a warm, collaborative approach that helps you feel safe, process emotions deeply, and experience real, lasting change.

Together, we’ll move at the pace of your nervous system, build your capacity to feel and regulate, and reconnect with the parts of you that already know how to heal.

Distressed-woman-in-AEDP-SessionWhat is AEDP?

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy is a relational, emotion‑focused approach.

In plain terms: I sit with you, closely, so you don’t have to carry hard moments alone.

Together we slow down, feel what’s true, and let your nervous system register safety and relief. From there, real change can happen.

How it’s different from talk therapy

Instead of analyzing from the neck up, I invite your whole self—mind, body, and emotions. We notice what’s happening in the moment, gently follow the thread of your experience, and support the emotions that want to move through. Many people describe this as deeply relieving and surprisingly empowering.

Who I help

  • Adults navigating anxiety, stress, or burnout
  • People healing from trauma or emotional neglect
  • Highly sensitive or empathic folks who feel “too much”
  • Those longing for safer, more connected relationships

Who I HelpWhat a session feels like

I slow things down and stay with you—moment by moment. I’ll check in with your body cues, offer language for what’s happening, and celebrate every sign of relief or self‑compassion. We go at the speed of trust.

What changes over time

  • Less anxiety and self‑criticism; more inner steadiness
  • Greater capacity to feel and express core emotions
  • Clearer boundaries and closer relationships

Why work with me

I bring warmth, attunement, and steady presence. My style is collaborative and respectful: I’ll invite, never push. I’m committed to creating a space where your system can safely unfold and discover what’s possible. You can learn more about me here
